Slightly hazy, deep golden color with a thick, creamy, white head. The aromatics are intense and complex offering scents of tropical fruit, rich malt, mace, hints of earthy hops and dried flowers. The palate echoes the nose delivering a malt and fruit-driven core with waves of banana, stone fruits, and coriander seed with bright citrus accents. Full-bodied with a perfect balance of malt and fruit with flourishing hops notes, and bright acidity. 5 Stars

  • La Trappe Tripel (Netherlands)

Bright copper hue with brilliant clarity. Moderately full-bodied. Notes of bananas, white pepper, marzipan. Rich and weighty with a seamless mouthfeel, this is a very elegant beer. It is extremely well balanced and features a lengthy sweet, malty, and warming finish. 4 Stars

  • Orval Trappist (Belgium)

Unlike the other Trappist breweries, Orval makes just one style of beer. Their ale is orange to brown in color with a wildly aromatic nose offering scents of grain, citrus, and coriander. The palate is medium to full filled with fruity notes accented by spice, dried hops, and wild flowers. Incredibly complex begging the next sip. This is a classic! 5 Stars
