We had another busy week at BevX with new, tasty beverage reviews to share. This week we have five new wine reviews. Enjoy!

The BevX reviews are like no other. We evaluate wines, beers, and spirits breaking down elements of appearance, aroma, flavor, texture and intensity as well the product’s “cool factor” and value. We also offer analysis on the creation of the beverage as well as any interesting points that make it unique. Finally we offer suggestion on how to enjoy the beverage including pairing and cocktail suggestions.

Beso Del Sol White Sangria Spain NV
Brilliant golden color. The nose is intensely tropical with scents of mango, star fruit, and white peach with accents of citrus and pineapple. The palate confirms the nose delivering a vibrant tropical fruit-driven core with waves of sweet citrus and honeysuckle. Medium-bodied with ripe fruit matched by enough fresh acidity to keep it fresh.

Beso Del Sol Red Sangria Spain NV
Brilliant, deep ruby red color. The nose is redolent of your go-to red Sangria from your favorite tapas restaurant. Scents of fruity red wine with supporting notes of tropical fruits and citrus fill the nose. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lovely, youthful red wine core with flanking notes of ripe tropical fruit with orange pulp and zest rising on the finish with hints of cinnamon. Medium-bodied with a bright wine core supporting by fresh fruit and citrus finishing with subtle tannins and spice.

Beso Del Sol Rose Sangria Spain NV
Bright salmon pink color. The nose is alive with the scents of fruity rosé wine with generous support of tropical fruit and accents of citrus. The palate echoes the nose delivering a bright, fruity core that is more rosé than tropical fruit with waves of mango, orange, and red berries. Medium-bodied with vibrant fruit with waves of tropical accents and enough lemon and orange to keep it lively.

Tongue Dancer Wines Bacigalupi Vineyard Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2015
Brilliant, medium golden color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of lemon curd, kumquat, and white peach with supporting notes of orange peel, cantaloupe, and honeysuckle. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe, orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of lychee, stone fruits, and wet river stones. The finish is long and lingering with subtle citrus notes. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a opulent texture punctuated by a dose of toasty oak.

Tongue Dancer Wines Putnam Vineyard Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2015
Brilliant, medium ruby color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of blackberry and red cherry with supporting notes of cranberry, earth, thyme, and baking spices. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with accents of earth, oak, and spice. The finish is long and lingering with silky tannins. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a silky texture.
