We are huge fans of Tongue Dancer Wines and now they have gone and made the best Chardonnay that we have tasted this year! We loved their 2015 Chardonnay but in 2016 they took this wine to higher level. Get it while you can.  See the Beverage of the Week feature

Tablas Creek Mourvedre Adelaida District 2016
Brilliant, medium ruby color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of plum and blackberry with supporting notes of pomegranate, cocoa, and baking spices. The palate echoes the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of raspberry, earth, and slate. The finish is long and lingering with chewy tannins and tart red fruits. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a opulent texture. $40 4.5 Stars/94 points

Troon Vineyard Estate – Kubli Bench Vermentino Applegate Valley 2017

The nose is moderately intense offering scents of green apple and pear with supporting notes of kumquat, green tea, sandalwood, and wet stones with a pleasingly herbaceous accent. The palate echoes the nose delivering an orchard fruits and citrus-driven core with flavors of green melon and sudachi. The finish is long and lingering with silky fruit and citrus zest accents. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a bright and slightly creamy texture. $18 4 Stars/92 points
