Brilliant, crystal clear.

The nose is amazingly aromatic with waves of bright juniper supported by generous notes of dried flowers and citrus with a subtle sweet honey accent.

The palate echoes the nose delivering a dense and nearly chewy juniper-forward spirit with an impossibly complex mélange of spices in support finishing dry with a faint earthy tone.

Full-bodied with gusto to spare being both assertive and elegant while ultimately finishing dry.

We at BevX love Gin of all styles. The Silent Pool Gin is among the most unique Gins that we have tasted and it's absolutely delicious.

Value Grade

Selling at nearly $60 a bottle this lovely Gin won't find the bargain bin but it will find itself in tasty cocktails in top bars and restaurants.

Analysis

Silent Pool Distillers is an artisan distillery located on the Albury Estate at the foot of the Surrey Hills in England. Silent Pool is made with a unique four-stage process that utilizes different methods of extracting essential oils based on the total oils and heartiness of the botanical. In all, 24 botanicals are used including two varieties of juniper, kaffir lime, lavender, grains of paradise, and many more. It is a true craft product requiring a hands-on approach from beginning to end.

How to Enjoy

The Silent Pool Gin is very versatile working well in most of the classic Gin cocktails. We like it with soda and a squeeze of fresh lime as this allows the complex flavors to shine.
