Submitting Samples for Review – How it Works
First – as you may have noticed this page is not linked from our contact or about pages. We do not accept samples from everyone or we would be absolutely deluged in product. If you are seeing this page you have likely received the link directly from us as an invitation to submit.
We review Wine, Beer, and Spirits weekly. Please see below for the quantity and information required.
There is no charge for submitting beverages to be reviewed at BevX.com but we do require that you provide all of the requested samples and information (see below). We simply don’t have the time to chase down missing information. Often when information is incomplete we are forced to put these products at the back of the queue to be tackled when time allows.
Please contact us in advance of shipping samples.
This seems obvious but it must be said — please include your contact information in the box so we know who sent the samples!
If your box includes product for review with no information and lacking your contact information it will go to the bottom shelf and we will get to it when and if we have time.
When we receive your product submission (assuming that all requested bottle quantities and information have been provided) we will send you a receipt of product notice that includes the publish date.
Once reviewed, and prior to publication, we will send you notice of your review and score.
For accessories and beverage related gadgets typically just one product sample is sufficient.
Required bottles and information by type:
Wine & related Information needed:
Two (2) bottles (of each label submitted), ABV (alcohol by volume), RS, Total Acidity, pH, Case Production, and Suggested Retail Price. Also, we need a contact person for sample submission including the submitter’s phone number and email address. Please also include the product and brand story as BevX gives our readers a very detailed review.
Spirits & related Information needed:
One bottle, Suggested Retail Price. Also, we need a contact person for sample submission including the submitter’s phone number and email address. Please also include the product and brand story as BevX gives our readers a very detailed review.
Beer, Cider, RTD & related Information needed:
A minimum of Three (3) bottles or cans (we accept in-tact four and six-packs as well), Suggested Retail Price – stat sheets helpful, please name the style category, ABV, and IBU. Also, we need a contact person for sample submission including the submitter’s phone number and email address. Please also include the product and brand story as BevX gives our readers a very detailed review.
Single Serving RTD and NA beverages — provide the same as required for Beer.

You will be notified when your product arrives and reviews will be sent within 14 to 21 days in most cases. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions that you may have. Of course, if the requested information is not provided with the samples the publish date could be delayed.
