Pale straw color.

Aromatics

The nose is fresh and vibrant with scents of citrus with supporting tropical fruit notes and hints of green herbs, and fresh-cut green grass.

Flavor

The palate echoes the nose delivering a bright and freshing fruit centered core with accents of mineral, fresh green herbs, and green apple skins.

Intensity & Texture

It's a fresh and zesty wine with great balance and a clean finish.

Cool Factor

B

A crisp and clean Sauvignon Blanc is always welcome on my table. Also, this wine shows that wines made from grapes sourced in multiple appellations can result in a wine with great balance and complexity.

Value Grade

B

At under $15 a bottle this is represents a good value.

Analysis

The subtle addition of 3% Viognier to the blend adds a pretty tropical note. This is a fully unoaked Sauvignon Blanc being fermented and aged in stainless steel for ultimate freshness. A 190,000 cases of this wine have been produced making this a stunning achievement in my book. In most cases wines of this production level don't come near the depth and style of this wine.

How to Enjoy

Chill well and sip as an aperitif and serve with cold fish dishes and salads.
