In the Glass

Appearance

Brilliant, light peach color.

Aromatics

The nose is fresh and compelling offering scents of ripe citrus with tropical fruits and hints of raspberry and mineral.

Flavor

The palate echoes the nose delivering a vibrant fruit core with the red berries showing more prominence with red grapefruit and subtle tropical notes before finishing with a slightly pithy, citrus zest note.

Intensity & Texture

Medium-bodied and ideally balanced with a bright dose of acidity and tart fruits.

Cool Factor

A

We absolutely love vibrant and well-made Provence Rosé especially when it perfectly combines fruit and tart acidity.

Value Grade

B

As you know, we love Rosé in volume in the summer so we wish this bright, crisp, and lovely Rosé was closer to $15 a bottle.

Analysis

This multi-layered and complex Rosé is made with a blend of: 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 15% Cinsault, and 5% Tibouren. We love the generous fruit and the ideal balance. This is a classic wine from the Cotes-de-Provence in southeast France. Wine has been made here for at least 2,600 years and while many styles of wines are made here Rosé accounts for more than half of the total production. 91 points out of 100.

How to Enjoy

Serve chilled as an ideal summer aperitif or pair with summer salads and grilled fish.
