Value Grade
A few years ago $25 for a bottle of Rosé would have seemed high but now it's become somewhat of a standard. If you want us to pay more than $20 for a Rosé it better be damn good and this Patelin de Tablas Rosé hits the mark.

Analysis
The grapes for this delicious and classic rosé are sourced from four appellations in Paso Robles. The 2019 vintage started off rainy with a slightly later than usual bud break followed by cool start of summer that finished with an ideal harvest. It look as though the fruit intensity in 2019 is high so this should play out in later releases from the vintage. This Grenache dominated rosé (76% Grenache, 19% Mourvedre, and 5% Counoise) is fermented and rested in stainless steel to retain its fresh flavors. Patelin de Tablas Rosé is redolent of great Southern Rhone and Provence rosés that feature fresh red fruits with bright, fresh acidity. While many of our old reliable rosé wines from Provence have disappointed in recent years the Tablas Creek Rosés never fail to impress.

How to Enjoy
This beauty needs nothing but a glass but it's great with grilled or fried chicken, sushi, and smoked salmon.
