Analysis

This is the debut of Tongue Dancer Wines (TDW) Rambling Foot that may, or may not, have a recurring role in the unfolding tale of this beloved Sonoma winery. This label has evolved like the others before it such as Foxtrot and The Sly One as a way to showcase different vineyards and unique blends of fruit from two or more vineyards. The fruit for this amazingly delicious Pinot hails from Terra de Promissio and the Lofty Vineyard (part of the Putnam Vineyard, a regular source for TDW). A similar blend has previously been showcased by TDW with their Sonoma Coast Pinot Noirs from 2019 and 2020, as well as their Ultra Pinot in 2019. This wine was quite dense and remained tight for an extended period prompting TDW to hold it in bottle for an extra six months. Now this wine is just starting to bloom and we absolutely love it. It’s made in small quantities and it may never be the same again so get yours while it lasts.

How to Enjoy

Like all of Tongue Dancer's Pinots, this wine needs nothing but a glass but it really loves grilled meats. Be sure to decant the Rambling Fox to get the full aromatic and flavor experience.
