Le Miccine Chianti Classico 2005 (Italy)

Bright ruby red color with brick red edges. The nose is robust and rustic as scents of earth and mineral share center stage with dense dried berry notes. The palate becomes more generous, especially after in the glass for five minutes or more. The fruit flavors evolve to a mélange of ripe and dried black berry and cherry with accents of clove, nutmeg, black pepper, and sweet vanilla. Perfectly balanced and youthful.
