Brilliant, dark purple color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of black cherry and cassis with supporting notes of blueberry, raspberry, and mocha. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of boysenberry and vanilla. The finish is long and lingering with chewy tannins. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a opulent texture. A classic, rich, and dense California Petite Sirah. $19 – 4 Stars – 90 points

  • Vina Robles Petite Sirah Paso Robles 2012

Deep, dark ruby red color. The nose is filled with the scents of freshly crushed berries with loads of plum and accents of brown spices and dark chocolate. The palate concurs with the nose delivering a lush and fruity berry-driven core with waves of cocoa and subtle earth notes. Medium to full-bodied with generous fruit and a fresh does of acidity. $24 – 3 Stars – 85 points

  • Bogle Petite Sirah California 2013

Deepest, darkest ruby red color. The nose is dense with bramble berry and blackberry that is equally tart as it is ripe with loads of brown baking spices in support, as well as generous dose of American oak. The palate is equal to the nose delivering a concentrated, fruit forward core with waves of tart, jammy black fruits. This is a very intense Petite with a generous dose of acidity and framing, gripping tannins. $12 – 3 Stars – 86 points
