Bernardus Griva Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Arroyo Seco/Monterey 2023
Bernardus has crafted this complex and delicious Sauvignon Blanc, using fruit sourced from the Griva Vineyard in the Arroyo Seco AVA. This vineyard was planted by Michael Griva, president of the Arroyo Seco Winegrowers Association, in 1997. It now spans 396 acres. The block used for this wine features the Sauvignon Blanc “Musqué” clone, a variant of the Sauvignon Blanc grape known for its pronounced and intense floral and musky aromatic qualities…

Brilliant, medium green/gold color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of apricot stone, green melon, and lychee with supporting notes of fresh herbs, citrus zest, and honeysuckle. The palate confirms the nose, delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of white peach, slate, pear, and quince paste. The finish is crisp. The palate is in complete agreement with the nose, delivering a caramel and agave-driven core with generous notes of spice, black pepper, roasted pineapple, and sea salt. Loca Loka Blanco, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The aromatics are very intense, offering aromas of honey, cooked agave, and pear with supporting notes of sandalwood, citrus zest, and wild flowers. The palate is in full agreement with the nose, delivering an agave-driven core with supporting flavors of honey, melon, and sea salt. The finish is long and lingering. Ghost Tequila Spicy Reposado, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, pale golden color. The nose is peculiar with sweet agave and unique floral notes in the lead with accents of citrus and chili. The palate is far more assertive than the nose, as chili dominates the flavors and physical sensations supported by sweet, baked agave and honey notes. Medium to full-bodied with assertive chili.
