Davis Bynum Virginia’s Block Sauvignon Blanc Russian River Valley 2024
Sauvignon Blanc is one of our favorite varietals as it says so much about the place where it is grown and the people who coax it into wine. Regardless of these factors, this great varietal is almost always aromatic and, when done properly, sprightly and refreshing. The grapes for the Davis Bynum Virginia’s Block Sauvignon Blanc Russian River Valley 2024 hail from their five-acre plot in the heart of the Russian River Valley, named for Davis’ wife, Virginia…

Wine Reviews
Celler Masroig Sola Fred Montsant 2023
Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of red currant and black cherry with supporting notes of forest floor, baking spices, and licorice. The palate confirms the nose, delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of blackberry, sour cherry, bramble, and black tea. The finish is long and lingering with ripe tannins. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a velvety texture. This wine boldly proves that you don’t need oak to create a complex red. Made with 100% Carignan, and it’s absolutely delicious! $19.99 – 4 Stars/93 points
Spirits Reviews
Luxardo Espresso Liqueur
Brilliant, dark mahogany color. The nose is filled with scents of dark roasted espresso beans with supporting notes of dark chocolate with hints of vanilla bean and brown sugar. The palate is in full agreement with the nose while being a bit sweeter as the sugar adds depth to the espresso elongating the palate with notes of vanilla bean and cocoa nibs. Full-bodied and generous with espresso and supporting flavors — ideal for cocktails. $24.99 – 4 Stars
