Troon Vineyard Ascendant Rosé Applegate Valley 2023
You will have to look very closely to see that this is indeed a Rosé as the color is very faint being similar to a white wine with extended skin contact. On the nose and palate this wine delivers a wonderful hybrid of red and white wine characteristics with great depth and complexity. Tongue Dancer Wines Rosé of Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2023
Brilliant, medium coral color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of red cherry, raspberry, and crushed berries with supporting notes of hibiscus flower, slate, and orange peel. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of strawberry, red plum, citrus zest, and mulberry. The finish is long and lingering. Brilliant, medium ruby color. The nose is moderately intense, offering scents of wild berries, tart red cherry, and rose petals with supporting notes of hibiscus flower, slate, and elderberry. The palate echoes the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of raspberry, red currant, black tea, and plum. The finish is tart with ripe tannins. Mildly hazy, medium peach color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of star fruit, plum, and orange peel with supporting notes of slate, quince paste, and hints of red berries. The palate echoes the nose delivering an orchard fruit and citrus-driven core with flavors of apricot stone, kumquat, white peach, and citrus zest. The finish is long and lingering with very soft and silky tannins. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with an opulent texture.
