Product Story
Ayinger’s Brauweisse is the perfect expression of Bavarian Weissebier. It’s made with just five ingredients: malted wheat, malted barley, water, yeast, and hops. The grist bill is roughly 60% wheat, which shines through in the beer’s aromatics and flavors, marrying ideally with their traditional Bavarian Weissebier yeast strain, which provides unmistakable tropical fruit and clove accents. The hop impression is quite subtle, measuring in at just 13 IBU. The alcohol-by-volume is moderate as well, coming in at just over 5%. It’s the perfect refreshing summer beverage, but we love it year-round.
