We love an excellent Rosé, and when they're made by Tongue Dancer Wines — one of our favorite winemakers — it's ultra-cool. This is the pinnacle of Pinot Rosé wines.

Selling at $25 a bottle, this lovely Rosé won't be found in the bargain bin. However, it is delicious, perfect, and rare, with limited production.

Analysis

How can this be the 14th commercial release of the delicious Tongue Dancer Wines (TDW) Rosé of Pinot Noir? Where has the time and the rosé gone… Like most of TDWs’ rosé wines, this Rosé of Pinot Noir is made with the saignée method — a winemaking technique of “bleeding” off a portion of juice after a brief period of skin contact (just six to eight hours in this case). This beautiful rosé is a portion of their Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. In this case, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It is clear that 2025 is a blockbuster vintage. The TDW Rosé of Pinot Noir is traditionally crafted in a dry style similar to Rosé from southern France, yet it highlights remarkable Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Fermented and matured in stainless steel, it is also inoculated with a proprietary yeast from the Rhône Valley. It’s spectacular — don’t miss it.

How to Enjoy

This wine needs nothing but a glass and a comfortable chair, but it does pair brilliantly with smoked salmon or spicy stir fries.
