We always love a well-made GSM regardless of where it's made but Oregon seems to offer the ideal climate for these varietals not to mention the bonus varietal.

Analysis
This delicious wine is made with a blend of Mourvédre 31.61%, Syrah 39.66%, Grenache 16.06%, and the bonus addition of Sangiovese 12.67%. Perhaps this wine is actually a GSM+S? The Sangiovese addition was a last minute necessity as the Troon winemaking team needed to top the barrels. I think it's fair to say that we will not see this exact blend again. Like all Troon wines made today the grapes were crushed by foot, fermented with native yeasts, and are absolutely free of any additives. The wine was matured in mature French oak offering subtle oak accents. The result is an elegant wine capable of aging if you are patient while offering instant gratification for those who cannot wait. 94 points.
How to Enjoy
This complex and vibrant wine is ready to drink now but it will cellar well for at least five years. Please decant this wine so it will show you its many nuances. Serve with grilled or roasted meats.
