Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry with supporting notes of dried herbs, slate, blueberry, and lavender. The palate echoes the nose, delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of boysenberry, bramble, rosemary, and black pepper. The finish is long and lingering with firm tannins. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a meaty texture. $40 – 4.5 Stars/95 points
Ola Sol Agave Wine Mexico NV
Brilliant, crystal clear. The aromatics are redolent of Blanco Tequila, offering scents of cooked agave, mineral, and citrus zest with supporting notes of wildflowers and straw. The palate echoes the nose, delivering a baked agave-driven core with flavors of tropical fruit and flowers, sweet grass, and honey rising on the finish with hints of slate. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant texture. A great alternative to Tequila for those looking to have a second or third Tequila-based cocktail. $31.50 – 4 Stars/92 points

King of Kentucky Barrel No. 10 — 2024 16 Years Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Brilliant, deep amber color. The nose is incredibly generous and complex with notes of sweet fruit cake, dark chocolate, freshly toasted grains, roasted coconut, vanilla bean, and caramel with accents of candied ginger and brown baking spices. The palate echoes the nose, delivering a robust, caramel, and charred oak core with waves of chocolate covered coconut, roasted grains, and brown baking spices. Full-bodied with a complex and dense palate that needs a splash of water and time to aerate. Sip slowly, as it’s not cheap, and there are just 5,100 bottles available. $349.99 – 4 Stars
