2Hawk Darow Series Malbec Rogue Valley 2017
Brilliant, deep scarlet color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of cassis and black plum with supporting notes of boysenberry, cardamon, leather, mocha, and white truffle. The palate echoes the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of blackberry, graphite, pomegranate, and forest floor. The finish is long and lingering with firm tannins with silky oak accents. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a voluptuous and chewy texture. $49 4.5 Stars/95 points

2Hawk Malbec Rogue Valley 2017
Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of blackberry and raspberry with supporting notes of black tea, graphite, cocoa, slate, and cigar box. The palate confirms the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of black cherry, plum, hibiscus flower, and black pepper. The finish is long and lingering with chewy tannins and subtle oak accents. Full-bodied and ideally balanced with a meaty texture. $34 4 Stars/93 points

Brilliant, medium green/gold color. The nose is moderately intense offering scents of nectarine, straw, and green melon with supporting notes of chamomile, citrus zest, fresh herbs, and green apple. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of white peach, quince, orange peel, and slate. The finish is long and lingering. Basil Hayden’s 10 Years Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Brilliant gold/amber color. The nose is very intense with scents of charred oak, vanilla bean, caramel, toasted grains, and a lovely dried fruit accent fill the nose. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lush caramel and oak-driven core with waves of brown baking spices, toffee, and sweet brown sugar. Full-bodied and so incredibly silky and lush while also offering ideal balance with oak, caramel, fruit, and spice in perfect measure. $69.99 – 5 Stars

Michter’s US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey
Brilliant, deep amber color. The nose is beautifully complex with rich, sweet toasted oak equalled by decadent Rye Whiskey with generous supporting notes of toffee, caramel, fruitcake, brown baking spices, and vanilla with hints of sandalwood. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lush, caramel-soaked rye core framed by toasted oak with generous accents of clove, allspice, vanilla, black pepper, nutmeg, and ginger. Athletic Brewing Oktoberfest (USA)
Golden amber color with a slight haze. The nose is vibrant with the scents of malt and fresh bread with hints of caramel and toasted grains. The palate echoes the nose delivering a malty and yeasty core with soft, sweet malt accents and a mild bitter note. Medium-bodied with great balance as this lively NA Festbier delivers much more than the typical NA beer. $9.99, 6-pack cans, 12 oz. – 4 Stars
