Qunita do Vallado Prima White Douro 2020
Brilliant, light straw color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of spring flowers and kumquat with supporting notes of quince, lemon curd, and sandalwood. The palate echoes the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of white peach, pear, and mineral. The finish is long and lingering with crisp citrus accents. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant texture. Made with 100% Moscatel Gallego. Not your typical Mucat as it’s very dry and wonderfully nuanced. $24.99 – 4 Stars/92 points

Brilliant, light pale straw color. The nose is moderately intense, offering scents of citrus zest and kumquat with supporting notes of honeysuckle, kiwi, and spring flowers. The palate confirms the nose delivering a tropical fruits-driven core with flavors of passion fruit, lychee, and slate. The finish is crisp. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced with a vibrant texture. $22.99 – 3.5 Stars/88 points

Brilliant, medium salmon color. The nose is moderately intense, offering scents of violet and red plum with supporting notes of hibiscus flower and wet stones. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of raspberry, red currant, mineral, and hints of cranberry. The finish is crisp and dry. Laphroaig Select Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Brilliant golden color. The nose is beautiful and classically Laphroaig with sweet campfire, peat, baked green apples, and coconut with subtle citrus and tropical accents. The palate is in full-agreement with the nose delivering a lush and sweet fruit, smoke, and peat core that trails off a bit quick. Medium to full-bodied with classic Laphroaig attributes while it falls a bit short of the classic Laphroaig proportions, balance and finish. $44.99 – 3.5 Stars
