Brilliant, light green/gold straw color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of honeysuckle, apricot stone, and blanched almonds with supporting notes of citrus zest, bees wax, and sea salt. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard and citrus fruits-driven core with flavors of lemongrass, green tea, gooseberry, and green melon. The finish is crisp. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant texture. Made with an unusual blend of Gros Manseng, Petit Courbu, and Arrufiac. $22 – 4 Stars/92 points

Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of black cherry, forest floor, and black tea with supporting notes of mineral, mulberry, oak, and earth. The palate echoes the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, baking spices, and dried herbs with accents of leather and cocoa. The finish is long and lingering with chewy tannins. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with an opulent texture. $49 – 4.5 Stars/95 points

Brilliant, medium/light amber color. The nose gives scents of baked tropical fruits, crème brulee, and fresh cut grass with supporting notes of lychee, vanilla bean, and caramel. The palate echoes the nose delivering sweet baked pineapple-driven core with waves of salted caramel, mineral, and grilled lemons. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a wild cane distillate note rising on the finish. $59.99 – 4.5 Stars

Renegade Single Farm Cuvée: Dunfermline Rum
Bright, medium golden/amber color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of banana bread, vanilla bean, and treacle with supporting notes of nutmeg, butterscotch, and oak. The palate confirms the nose delivering a baking spices and baked tropical fruits-driven core with supporting flavors of toffee, candied ginger, lemon curd, honey, and hazelnut. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a supple texture. $69.99 – 5 Stars

Renegade MicrOrgin: Hope Swimming Pool Rum
Bright, medium golden/amber color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of brown sugar, cashew butter, and fruitcake with supporting notes of ginger biscuits, five spice, and honey. The palate echoes the nose delivering a baked tropical fruit-driven core with flavors akin to baked apple, toffee, butterscotch, lemon curd, and candied walnut. The finish is long and lingering. Renegade Cuvée: Aura — White Rum
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is filled with the scents of pot-still, cane juice Rum with waves of tropical grass, jackfruit, sandalwood, mineral, and hints of petrol. The palate agrees with the nose delivering a wild blast of fermented tropical fruits with hints of vanilla, green grass, caramelized sugar, and hints of banana bread. Full-bodied and ideally balanced with superb length while cleverly hiding its alcohol strength. $49.99 – 4.5 Stars
