Nia Pinot Noir California 2018
This 2018 Nia Pinot Noir is the third vintage that we have seen and it’s as impressive as the previous two vintages. In fact, the 2018 Pinot might be even better. Just as exciting is that they have maintained their $9.99 price making this one of the top Pinot Noir values. We just don’t know how Nia manages to make a Pinot Noir with depth and true varietal character and sell it for 10 bucks!

Korbel Prosecco DOC NV
Brilliant, light pale straw color with a medium bead of bubbles. The nose is moderately intense offering scents of Asian pear and white peach with supporting notes of wet stones and citrus zest. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of ripe green apple and honeysuckle. The finish is crisp. Light to medium-bodied and nicely balanced with a vibrant texture. $14.99 3.5 Stars/87 points

Blue Nectar Founder’s Blend Añejo, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, deep copper color. The nose is filled with the scents of charred oak and sweet baked agave with supporting notes of sweet toffee, vanilla, and hints of pickle barrel. The palate is in agreement with the nose delivering a sweet fruit and toffee core flanked by astringent wood notes that envelope the baked agave was more aggressive than anticipated. Full-bodied with loads of spice and a very sweet, fruity core. $64.99 – 3 Stars
