Padigan Rosé Grenache Rogue Valley 2022
Brilliant, light coral color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of wild strawberry and kumquat with supporting notes of slate, red plum, and hibiscus flower. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of raspberry, pomegranate, and watermelon. The finish is long and lingering. The palate echoes the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of black plum, cocoa, dried herbs, allspice, and black cherry. The finish is long and lingering with supple tannins. Brilliant, mahogany color. The nose is filled with complex and alluring aromatics including orange peel, licorice, rhubarb, cinnamon, and dried herbs. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lush but vibrant core of bitter citrus, herbs, and spices with silky vanilla accents and bittersweet berries on the finish.
