Domaine Rogue Quercia Chardonnay Applegate Valley 2021
Brilliant, light gold/green color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of lemon curd, lemongrass, and hazelnut with supporting notes of pear, citrus zest, brioche, and honeysuckle. The palate echoes the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of white peach, orange peel, quince, and coconut macaroon. The finish is long and lingering. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of lemon curd, pear, toasted coconut, peach, and mineral. The finish is long and lingering. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of raspberry, boysenberry, lavender, hibiscus tea, and oak. The finish is long and lingering with dry tannins.
