Greenbar Grand Poppy Amaro
Brilliant, copper/orange color. The nose leaps from the glass with fresh scents of wild flowers, herbs, bitter fruit, and citrus zest with hints of earth and pepper. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a semisweet herbal blast with generous flavors of grapefruit, dried flowers, and forest floor. Medium-bodied with great complexity, length, and balance. $27.99 – 4 Stars

The palate echoes the nose delivering a sweet black tea-forward core with flanking notes of flowers, herbs, and candied lemon zest. Brilliant, light green/gold color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of green melon and citrus zest with supporting notes of grapefruit, kumquat, honeysuckle, and lemon grass. The palate confirms the nose delivering a citrus-driven core with flavors of lemon curd, kiwi, quince, and mineral. The finish is long and lingering with citrus accents. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant texture. Made with 100% Vermentino. A perennial favorite here at BevX. $27 – 5 Stars/97 points
