Lungarotti Rubesco Vigna Monticchio Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG 2018
Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of black cherry, leather, and black tea with supporting notes of vanilla and elderberry. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of boysenberry, dried herbs, black plum, and earth. The finish is long and lingering with silky tannins. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with an opulent texture. $75 – 4.5 Stars/95 points

Zucca Rabarbaro Gran Reserva Amaro
Opaque, deep mahogany color. The aromatics are very intense, giving aromas of dried herbs, treacle, eucalyptus, and rhubarb with supporting notes of campfire, dark chocolate, tamari, and mineral. The palate echoes the nose, delivering a baking spices-driven core with supporting flavors of brown sugar, candied ginger, cocoa nibs, orange peel, and dense balsamic. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and ideally balanced with a rich, viscous texture. $44.99 – 5 Stars
