Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of black cherry, dried herbs, and black tea with supporting notes of blackberry, toasted coconut, elderberry, and slate. The palate confirms the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of black plum, forest floor, vanilla bean, anise, and baking spices. Brilliant, deep tawny/amber color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of bitters, clove, and baked apple with supporting notes of apricot and brown sugar. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering a baking spices-driven core with supporting flavors of candied ginger, dried fruits, and quince paste. The finish is long and lingering.
