Handley Kazmet Vineyard Syrah Redwood Valley 2018
Brilliant, dark ruby color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of blackberry, forest floor, and black tea with supporting notes of elderberry and garrigue. The palate confirms the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of black plum, boysenberry, and blueberry. The finish is long and lingering with chewy, black currant influenced tannins. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a meaty texture. $32 – 4.5 Stars/95 points

Spirits Reviews
Triple Dog Blended Irish Whiskey
Brilliant, light golden/amber color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting scents of cashew butter, caramel, and baking spices with supporting notes of oak and candied ginger. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering a cereal-driven core with flavors akin to crème brulee, hazelnut, quince, and vanilla. The finish is long with notes of honey. Medium to full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with a supple texture. $41.99 – 4 Stars

Casa Obsidiana Blanco, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of cooked agave, fresh herbs, and citrus zest with supporting notes of wild flowers and straw. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a baked agave-driven core with flavors of tropical fruit, grass, honey, and black pepper rising on the finish. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and impeccably balanced with a vibrant texture. $185 – 4.5 Stars
