Troon Vineyard Druid’s White Applegate Valley 2022
Troon Vineyard has dropped the “fluid” (from their historic Druid’s Fluid) and replaced it with wine. The subtle name change marks a not so subtle change in philosophy for the wines. The older versions were made from purchased grapes while the new Druid’s red and white are a reflection of Troon Vineyard’s estate biodynamic vineyards. Forman Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2019
Brilliant, dark ruby/purple color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of boysenberry, violet, black tea, and graphite with supporting notes of earth, blackberry, slate, and leather. The palate echoes the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of black cherry, cassis, baking spices, dried herbs, and oak. The finish is long and lingering with supple tannins. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with an opulent texture. $150 – 4.5 Stars/95 points
Chateau La Grande Roche Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2021
Brilliant, deep ruby/purple color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of black currant, dried herbs, and black tea with supporting notes of boysenberry, earth, mineral, and leather. The palate confirms the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of black cherry, earth, black plum, five spice, and graphite. The finish is long and lingering with chewy tannins. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a meaty texture. $65 – 4 Stars/93 points
Da Luca Extra Dry Prosecco DOC NV
Brilliant, light straw color with a medium bead of bubbles. The nose is moderately intense, offering scents of pear and spring flowers with supporting notes of star fruit, green apple, and citrus zest. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of lemon, white peach, and jasmine. The finish is long. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced with a vibrant texture. $16 – 3.5 Stars/88 points

Benriach Malting Season — Third Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Brilliant, pale straw color. The nose is intriguing with scents of toasted pale malt and hay filling the nose with accents of brown baking spices, citrus zest, and hints of oak. The palate echoes the nose delivering a sweet, malt-focused core with waves of dried red fruits, toasted cocoa nibs, black pepper, and citrus. Full-bodied and ideally balanced with loads of spice and malt. $165 – 4 Stars
Luxardo Espresso Liqueur
Brilliant, dark mahogany color. The nose is filled with scents of dark roasted espresso beans with supporting notes of dark chocolate with hints of vanilla bean and brown sugar. The palate is in full agreement with the nose while being a bit sweeter as the sugar adds depth to the espresso elongating the palate with notes of vanilla bean and cocoa nibs. Full-bodied and generous with espresso and supporting flavors — ideal for cocktails. $24.99 – 4 Stars
