Troon Vineyard DruidTroon Vineyard Druid’s Pink Applegate Valley 2024
We are very pleased to see the second vintage of Troon Vineyard’s Druid’s Pink. One factor that makes this wine shine is the fact that all four varietals utilized are grown with the intention of creating a refreshing, yet substantial rosé wine. Like last year, their 2024 rosé is made with a blend of 62% Mourvedre, 18% Grenache, 8% Cinsault, 7% Carignan, and 5% Counoise. L’Astemia Pentita Tiradòss Bianco Langhe 2022
Brilliant, light gold/green color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of honeysuckle, blanched almonds, and pear with supporting notes of apricot stone, quince paste, and citrus zest. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of green apple, white peach, red grapefruit, and hints of passion fruit. The finish is long and lingering. Galliano L’Autentico Liqueur
Brilliant, dazzling gold/green color. The nose is filled with scents of star anise and fresh peppermint with supporting notes of candied ginger, nutmeg, and vanilla bean. The palate is in full agreement with the nose, delivering an anise-driven core, with waves of sweet herbs, citrus, and ginger, and hints of pepper and cardamom. Galliano Espresso Coffee Liqueur
Brilliant, dark mahogany color, being nearly opaque. The nose is filled with scents of dark-roasted espresso beans, with supporting notes of dark chocolate, brown sugar, and vanilla bean. The palate echoes the nose, adding a lovely anise note that marries perfectly with the dense espresso and mocha notes, finishing strong with mint and roasted nuts. Brilliant, pale green color. The nose is boldly floral with elderflower in the lead, followed by wild honey, apricot stone, and hints of green melon.
