Silk Apple

This is a great cocktail for a Halloween or fall theme party. The combination of Calvados with the tasty and unique Amarula Cream Liqueur is an inspired pairing. The bulk of the cocktail is juice so it's a smart party drink as it will not leave your guests hugging the floor. It's fruity with a crisp edge just like a good apple. This recipe can easily be batched and served in a punchbowl.

Ingredients

1 oz. Calvados or Applejack
1 oz. Amarula Cream Liqueur
1 1/2 oz. Apple Cider
1/4 oz. Fresh limejuice
Cinnamon, fresh ground for a garnish

Method

Add all wet ingredients to a shaker and shake vigorously. Strain in to a cocktail glass or festive, novelty glass. Garnish with a dusting of fresh cinnamon.

Variations

Feel free to use a quality apple Brandy or Applejack in place of the Calvados.
