Rubirosa Limited Edition 8 Years Old Rum
This wonderfully balanced and vibrant Rum is made primarily with both molasses and fresh cane juice. It’s aged first in American white oak (Whiskey) casks and then finished in French oak Cognac barrels. Rubirosa is made at the Dominican’s largest Rum distillery from an old recipe that has been out of use for some time…

Brilliant, medium gold/green color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of white peach, apricot stone, and lemon curd with supporting notes of orange peel, honeysuckle, and hints of apple skins. The palate confirms the nose delivering a tropical fruits-driven core with flavors of pineapple, lychee, candied lemon zest, and white peach. The finish is long and lingering with notes of citrus and mineral. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant yet opulent texture. Di Antonio Amaretto Cream Liqueur
Thick, tan and creamy. A muted nose with soft scents of almond cream with candied nuts and a hint of mocha. Quite viscous on the palate with a very sweet Amaretto flavor on the front palate that quickly fades to not much more than sugar and cream. Medium-bodied while being thick on the palate and a bit flabby. Serve over ice. $15 – 3 Stars
