Brilliant, crystal clear.

The nose is classic Bourbon with waves of caramel, roasted nuts, brown baking spices, vanilla, and oak.

The palate confirms the nose delivering a soft, fruity core with loads of toffee, caramel, oak, and spice.

Medium-bodied with a gentle core of fruit and spice and sweet caramel flavors on the finish.

Analysis

After being away from the US market for two decades (it was being sold in Asia), Diageo is bringing I.W. Harper back home. This NAS bottling along with a 15 year old are now available everywhere. The Whiskey in the bottle has been distilled at the New Bernheim Distillery and aged at their Stitzel-Weller Distillery warehouses.
