Analysis
As the name suggests the Bacardi Diez is aged in cask for a minimum of 10 years. This is a decadent and sweet Rum that is a dessert style in our estimation as it delivers rich Rum notes with sweet fruit and spice flavors. We wish that this Rum was finished drier. After landing in Cuba in the 1800s, Don Facundo Bacardi Maso became a wine merchant. With a talent for blending, he created a lighter style of Rum by introducing column stills to Cuba. In 1958, the family fled Cuba’s political instability and established headquarters in Puerto Rico and have since become the world’s largest Rum producer.

How to Enjoy
Serve neat or on the rocks after dinner perhaps with a cigar or semisweet dark chocolate.
