The palate is quite sprite as it opens with a zesty, spirity note backed by rich ripe fruit, Christmas cake, and sweet Sherry with accents of candied ginger.

Analysis
A pretty malt that would be better loved by our panel if it were not hovering abovet $100. While Hazelburn is a triple-distilled, non-peated malt made at Springbank, the peaty notes do leak in with subtle hints that add intrigue and complexity.
