Intensity & Texture
Medium-bodied with perfect balance thanks to a generous dose of bright acidity and crisp, tart fruit notes.
Cool Factor
We love Albariño and especially when it's done right like this gem. This wine exudes so much personality and pleasure that it is the ultimate cool summer wine.
Value Grade
At $16 this charming white offers a lot of flavor and style for the asking price.
Analysis
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel with 60% then rested on the less for four to six months adding complexity and a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Bodegas Vionta was founded in 2004. The terraced vineyards are located in three zones in the appellation and cover roughly 79 acres. It's a very pleasing Albariño with more complexity and depth than most of its peers. 92 points.
How to Enjoy
Like most Albariño, this wine is an excellent aperitif. It does have enough fruit and palate weight to pair with seafood working well with both smoked fish and grilled white fish.
