In the Glass
Appearance
Very pale straw color with perfect clarity.
Aromatics
The nose is crisp and vibrant offering classic Sauvignon Blanc aromatics like green grass, lime zest, citrus juice, and green apple, with hints of orange zest and apricot stones.
Flavor
The palate is in full agreement with the nose offering a vibrant fruit core with the fruit carrying more weight than expected with bright citrus on the edges keeping fresh.
Intensity & Texture
Medium to light-bodied with lean fruit notes and bright acidity that keeps it ideally balanced.
Cool Factor
I love lean and fresh whites that refresh the palate and perfom so well with lighter fare.
Value Grade
We would love to see this sell for under $15 (luckily most competitive retailers do sell this wine for an average of $13) as we want these fresh flavors in the regular house-wine rotation.
Analysis
This bright wine is made with 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Leyda Valley. It was slowly fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures and then gently filtered and briefly rested in tanks before bottling. The result is a refreshing wine that is big on fruit and balance with amazing length and depth as well.
How to Enjoy
Serve chilled at happy hour or with any salad, fresh cheeses, and fresh fruit.
