Analysis
This juicy red is made with 100% Pinot Noir. The fruit is sourced from the family vineyards located on the southwestern slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. The vineyard itself is over 150 years in age and 20% of the grapes utilized in this wine come from vines that are greater than 40 years old. The wine is rested in 100% French oak, of which 40% is new, for a period of 10 months. The resulting wine is quite juicy with supple tannins and silky spice notes. 88 points.
