Analysis

This is a unique animal being lush while sprite with subtle hints of agave and charred American oak. This opulent Sauvignon Blanc is made with a 4% Albarino, 3% Chardonnay, and 1% Muscat in the mix. The Beringer Bros. Tequila Barrel Aged Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the bright fruit flavors. Only 20% of the finished wine is aged barrels that has previously aged Tequila for a period of 60 days. Among the wines in this series barrel-aged wines this Tequila Barrel Aged Sauvignon Blanc shows the greatest impact of the barrel. This marriage of Tequila barrel and Sauvignon Blanc is really quite charming.

How to Enjoy

Serve chilled with nothing but a glass or serve alongside roasted fowl and firm fish.
