Beverage of the Week
Unibroue La Fin Du Monde (Canada) La Fin Du Monde, which translates to “The End of the World,” was launched by Unibroue in 1994. The name does not signal the end of civilization, but it takes its name from the belief that early explorers to this part of North America exclaimed that they had indeed reached the end of the known world… See the Beverage of the Week feature

Bric Cenciurio Arneis Roero DOCG 2023Brilliant, medium gold/green color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of passion fruit, meringue, and citrus zest with supporting notes of apricot stone, honeysuckle, and slate. The palate confirms the nose, delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of apple, white peach, honey, and Meyer lemon. The finish is long and lingering. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a silky yet vibrant texture. $19.99 – 4 Stars/92 points

Spirits Reviews
Martini & Rossi Riserva Speciale Ambrato Dry VermouthBrilliant medium deep gold/green color. The nose is wonderfully complex offering ripe, sweet Moscato wine with waves of bitter herbs, rhubarb, and a potpourri of dried wild flowers. The palate fully confirms the nose delivering a lush, semisweet, white fruit core with waves of flowers and herbs with incredible length and a dry, citrus accented finish. Medium-bodied with a vibrant and ripe fruity core that is balanced with complex herbal and spice accents. This “Riserva” level M&R Bianco Vermouth is wildly different than their classic Bianco Vermouth that we all know being a big step up in complexity. It’s made with Moscato d’ Asti wines from the Piedmont region of Italy. $14.99 – 4.5 Stars
Stambecco Maraschino Cherry Amaro
Brilliant copper/orange color. The nose is greeted with a medicinal cherry scent accented by notes of brown sugar, orange peel, and almonds. The palate echoes the nose delivering a sweet cherry-driven core with flanking notes of burnt orange, marzipan, dried herbs, and hints of vanilla. Medium-bodied with sweet fruits throughout — it’s more sweet than bitter and the medicinal flavor lingers. This version of an Italian Amaro seems to be more about the package than the liquid. $35 – 3 Stars
