Anne de Laweiss Collection Gewürztraminer Alsace 2022Brilliant, light golden color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of tropical fruit, lychee, and candied ginger with supporting notes of jasmine, bees wax, and rose water. The palate echoes the nose delivering a tropical fruits-driven core with flavors of white peach, quince paste, citrus zest, and tropical fruit. The finish is long and lingering. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with an opulent texture. $19.99 – 4 Stars/90 points

Bardstown Bottled-in-Bond 6 Years Old Kentucky Straight BourbonBrilliant, amber/copper color. The nose is beautifully complex while also directly offering scents of caramel cream, orange zest, baked peach, and cocoa nibs with accents of toasted oak and ginger biscuits. The palate echoes the nose delivering a stone fruit and toffee-driven core with supporting notes of candied ginger, brown baking spices, toasted oak, and sandalwood. Full-bodied and ideally balanced offering a rich core with very vibrant flavors, which is admirable considering the strength. Made with a mash bill of 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley. $49.99 – 4.5 Stars
Buchanan’s De Luxe 12 Years Old Blended Scotch Whisky
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is bright and wonderfully complex with honey-anointed ripe apples and peach with accents of orange peel, candied ginger, and nutmeg with hints of sweet smoke and saddle leather. Rich and creamy with the honey theme continuing being foiled by vibrant notes of spice and citrus zest taking the silky core to a zesty finish. Medium-bodied with generous fruit and honey notes that never get too sweet with a bright blast of spice to add refreshment. $35 – 4 Stars
anCnoc 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose offers gorgeous scents of honey, butterscotch, toasted grain, roasted almonds, and sweet malt with hints of citrus and smoke. The palate is the natural extension of the aromatics delivering a rich but vibrant malt-driven core with waves of sweet grains, honey, and citrus. Medium-bodied with generous malt and vibrant citrus and spice notes that give this Whisky perfect balance. $59.99 – 4 Stars
