Spiked Hot Cider

Warm apple cider in the fall is always a treat and for us adults, if mixes so well with a number of spirits from Whiskey to Rum and Brandy. This cider drink was designed to be easy and scalable to be served at a small or large gathering. Enjoy.

Ingredients

Recipe Serves Four
4 cups of apple cider
5 ounces of Dark Rum
2 ounces of Pimento Dram
1 orange sliced
cinnamon stick

Occasion

This hot and tasty beverage is great any time the temperature dips and it's a superb idea at holiday gatherings as it is easy to scale up for any size group.

Method

Place all ingredients in a saucepan and warm to just under a boil and then serve immediately in warm mugs. Garnish with an orange slice and enjoy in moderation.
