Brilliant, light green/gold color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of pineapple, wet stones, and lychee with supporting notes of mineral, green apple, orange peel, and spring flowers. The palate confirms the nose delivering a citrus-driven core with flavors of citrus zest, lemon curd, apricot stone, and star fruit. The finish is crisp and elongated with bright citrus and fresh cut thyme notes. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant texture. $35 – 4.5 Stars/96 points
Tablas Creek Esprit de Tablas Blanc Adelaida District 2022
Bright (slightly hazy), medium golden color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of apricot stone, honeysuckle, and lychee with supporting notes of jasmine, meringue, pear, and bees wax. The palate echoes the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of white peach, sudachi, wet river stones, and kiwi. The finish is long and lingering with ripe citrus accents. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a supple texture. Made with a blend of 33% Roussanne,32% Grenache Blanc, 14% Picpoul Blanc, 8% Clairette Blanche, 8% Picardan, and 5% Bourboulenc. $60 – 4.5 Stars/96 points
