Tongue Dancer Wines “Magnolia Montrachet” Chardonnay Dry Creek Valley 2023 We are enjoying the third release of Tongue Dancer Wines (TDW) “Magnolia Montrachet” Chardonnay. The first wine from this great vineyard source was their “The Sly One” Chardonnay from 2021. The source vineyard, the Tolmasoff Vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley, is planted with the Montrachet clone — a name very familiar to white Burgundy lovers… See the Beverage of the Week feature

Lucano Anniversario Amaro
Brilliant, deepest mahogany. The nose is luxurious and complex offering scents of wild mint, rhubarb, orange peel, licorice, cinnamon, and dried herbs. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lush but vibrant core of bitter herbs with fresh and dried citrus zest elongated on the palate with notes of minty fruitcake and vanilla bean. Full-bodied with incredible complexity, length, and ideal balance thanks to a generous dose of citrus-like acidity with peppery herbs. Made for Lucano’s 120th anniversary using an ancient recipe by Cav. Pasquale Vena — more potent and drier than their classic Amaro. $35.99 – 4.5 Stars
