Raeburn Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2020
Brilliant, medium scarlet/ruby color. The nose is moderately intense offering scents of raspberry and baking spices with supporting notes of blueberry, black tea, and mineral. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of blackberry, cassis, and pomegranate. The finish is long and lingering with soft tannins. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a velvety texture. $24.99 – 4 Stars/90 points

Avalon Cabernet Sauvignon Lodi 2019
Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are generous, offering scents of boysenberry and plum with supporting notes of raspberry and vanilla. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of black cherry, cassis, violet, and baking spices. The finish is long and lingering with ripe tannins. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a juicy texture. $10.99 – 3.5 Stars/89 points

Spirits Reviews

Zyr Vodka
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is quite expressive while still displaying a Vodka-proper of neutrality while subtly offering scents of an eclectic blend of fresh cereal grains with a lovely note of slate. The palate echoes the nose delivering a silky grain-focused core with waves of dried herbs, black pepper, and subtle fruit accents. Medium-bodied with a rich, velvet-like texture while delivering bright acidity resulting in perfect balance. $27.99 – 4.5 Stars
