Gonzalez Byass Solera 1847 Cream Jerez-Xeres-Sherry NV
Brilliant, deep mahogany color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of fig and toffee with supporting notes of leather, date, baking spices, and oak. The palate confirms the nose delivering a rich, dried fruits-driven core with flavors of sultanas, roasted nuts, and orange peel. The finish is long and lingering. Harveys Bristol Cream Jerez-Xeres-Sherry NV
Brilliant, deep amber color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of roasted nuts, raisin, and oak with supporting notes of dried fruits, leather, and caramel. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of toffee, sultanas, and orange peel. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a silky texture. An absolute classic and it’s as good as ever. $20 – 4 Stars/90 points

The London No. 1 Original Blue Gin
Brilliant, subtle blue color. The nose is very seductive with abundant juniper notes supported by citrus zest, bergamot, fresh herbs, and clean earth notes. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lush spirit with a citrus-focus showing complex earth tones and subtle licorice accents. Full-bodied with a silky entry that is soon met with a balancing citrus attack that leads to a long, lingering finish that begs another sip. $38.99 – 4 Stars
