Franciacorta is proud to have been for the third consecutive year the Official Sparkling Wine of the Emmy Awards season, culminating in the presentation of the Emmys yesterday, Monday 15 January, during an awards ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA, which aired live on FOX and numerous international broadcasting channels (in Italy it was broadcast by Sky).
The winners had the opportunity to toast their honor with Franciacorta immediately after receiving their official trophies and entering the Media Center to meet with American and International photographers and press, followed by more celebrating at the Governors Gala at the specially created Franciacorta Bar.This exclusive after-party is dedicated to the Emmy Award winners and is attended by an array of celebrities and prominent figures from the international television scene.
The award-winning actors included: Jennifer Coolidge, Matthew Macfayden, Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Christopher Storer, RuPaul, Lee Sung Jin, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snooke.
Guests present at the Awards included: Monica Bellucci con Tim Burton, Selena Gomez, Joan Collins, Jodie Foster, John Hamm, Harrison Ford con Calista Flockhart, Steve Martin, Priscilla Presley, Jessica Chastain.
The Awards night was also an unprecedented gastronomic experience, featuring American celebrity chefs Jet Tilla, Sherry Yard, Rose & Warren Schwartz, & Rachel Haggstrom whose delicious offerings were accompanied by a selection of Franciacorta sparkling wines that guests were able to enjoy from the Franciacorta Bar. The evening was not only a triumph of talent but also an extraordinary culinary celebration.
Hart Denton, the talented American actor known for his role in the series Riverdale, was Franciacorta’s special guest during the Emmy Awards, accompanied by his partner, model and influencer Elysée Sanvillé. In addition to being a talented actor, Hart Denton is an exceptional musician and style icon in the entertainment industry. One of his dreams is to direct a film and, having spent part of his summer holidays in Franciacorta, he considers it the perfect location owing to the diversity of settings the area offers. Their recent visit to Franciacorta inspired this collaboration, emphasizing the importance of Franciacorta as an ambassador of Italian style transcending the borders of wine.
The Franciacorta Bar was also present at the main events leading up to the Emmy Awards, including the Creative Emmy Awards, dedicated to those working “behind the scenes” – set designers, costume designers, picture and sound editors, etc. – and the Performers Nominees Celebration, an event dedicated to all the 75th Emmy Awards’ nominated performers and the casts of nominated programs To participate in the Performers Nominees Celebration, Franciacorta invited several Italian personalities from the arts and entertainment who have been living in Los Angeles for years and who are symbols of Italian savoir faire. These included Marta Pozzan, actress, writer of short films and mental health coach, Giuseppe Giofrè, a professional dancer who works with top international stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift, and Natalia Bonifacci, model, influencer and actress. Furthermore, the distinctive presence of the Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles, Raffaella Valentini, further enriched the event, emphasizing the strong bond between Franciacorta and the Italian government in showcasing Italian excellence in Los Angeles. International stars such as singer-songwriter Patricia Manfield and influencer Tessa Brooks were also present for Franciacorta.

Initially slated for September 2023, the 75th edition of the Emmy Awards was postponed until January 2024 because of the Hollywood strikes. This, however, did not diminish the enthusiasm and participation of television fans around the world. The evening was a triumph of talent, with Franciacorta showcasing Italy’s excellence in the heart of Hollywood. This edition also marked the first Emmy Awards nomination of Italian actresses: Sabrina Impacciatore and Simona Tabasco were both in the running for the award of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series – The White Lotus, season two.
