This is the third vintage of Tongue Dancer Wines’ (TDW) Foxtrot and the third on the trot from the Russian River Valley. This wine is designed to be a fun, fruit-forward Pinot, but don’t let that fool you, it has a serious side, too. Wine Reviews

Exprimere Persey Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills 2023
Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of red plum, boysenberry, and red currant with supporting notes of five spice, mulberry, and sweet strawberry. The palate echoes the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of ripe red cherry, pomegranate concentrate, and black currant jam. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with an opulent texture. $96 – 4 Stars/91 points

Brilliant, medium garnet color. The nose is moderately intense, offering scents of boysenberry, strawberry, and dried herbs with supporting notes of slate, five spice, kumquat, and hibiscus flower. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of red cherry, cranberry, red plum, and oak. The finish is long and lingering with chewy tannins. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with an opulent texture. $96 – 4.5 Stars/96 points

Spirits Reviews

Luxardo Espresso Liqueur
Brilliant, dark mahogany color. The nose is filled with scents of dark roasted espresso beans with supporting notes of dark chocolate with hints of vanilla bean and brown sugar. The palate is in full agreement with the nose while being a bit sweeter as the sugar adds depth to the espresso elongating the palate with notes of vanilla bean and cocoa nibs. Full-bodied and generous with espresso and supporting flavors — ideal for cocktails. $24.99 – 4 Stars
