See the Full BevX Featured Review Brilliant, deep violet color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of blackberry and cassis with supporting notes of plum, slate, and oak. The palate confirms the nose delivering a black fruit-driven core with flavors of black fruits, cocoa, and baking spices. The finish is long and lingering with ripe, chewy tannins. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a velvety and supple texture. $30 4 Stars/91 points
Palmer & Co. Brut Reserve Reims NV
Brilliant, medium golden color with a fine bead of bubbles. The nose is moderately intense offering scents of pear and toasted bread with supporting notes of citrus zest, bees wax, and white peach. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of pear, lemon curd, buttery brioche, and honey. The finish is long and lingering with toasty lees and citrus accents. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant yet creamy texture. $60 4.5 Stars/95 points

Brilliant, light salmon color. The nose is moderately intense offering scents of strawberry and raspberry with supporting notes of red cherry and hibiscus flower. The palate echoes the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of ripe red berries, orange peel, and semi-tart cranberry. The finish is long and lingering. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced with a vibrant texture. $13 3.5 Stars/87 points

Amrut Peated Indian Single Malt Whisky
Brilliant, deep golden to copper color. The aromatics lead with a bright dose of fresh, reeky peat smoke supported by toasted grain, honey, and rich caramel with accents of baking spices and a hint of lemon zest. The palate confirms the nose delivering a dense and chewy malt Whisky with waves of honey, peat smoke, clove, and butterscotch rising on the finish. Full-bodied with perfect balance thanks to the bright peat and citrus accents. $69.99 – 3.5 Stars
