Kopke White Colheita Port Oporto 2008
Brilliant, medium golden to amber color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of orange peel, apricot, and vanilla custard with supporting notes of quince paste, dried pineapple, and honeysuckle. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe and dried orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of dried fruits, ginger biscuits, and sultanas. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with an opulent texture. $35 – 4.5 Stars/95 points
